INSPIRE Scholarship 2023 (SHE) – INSPIRE scholarship application form will release in the month of November 2023, tentatively. In this scheme, candidates participate from every corner of India. INSPIRE is mainly for those who pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses in the basic & natural science fields. Recent events have resulted in KVPY being merged into INSPIRE, and the continuing KVPY fellowships will continue to be funded in accordance with DST guidelines. INSPIRE Scholarship (SHE) About

INSPIRE is a division of DST (Department of Science & Technology) and The scheme SHE (Scholarship for Higher Education) is under INSPIRE. Each chosen applicant under SHE is given INR 80,000 per year to pursue any course in the Natural or Basic Sciences. The aim to start this scheme is to increase the interest of candidates in the research industry. This scheme was started on 13 December 2008.

INSPIRE Scholarship 2023 (SHE) Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for SHE INSPIRE Scholarship, a candidate has to fulfil the following requirements.

Age Criteria

Aspirants must be between the ages of 17 and 22 years.

Educational Qualification

  • The applicant must have received an overall grade point average in his or her class 12 board test that places them in the top 1% of graduates.
  • After graduating from high school, the candidate must enrol in natural and basic science courses at the BSc, BS, & Integrated MSc/MS levels.
  • Candidates who have achieved rankings in the JEE of IIT & AIPMT (among the top 10,000 ranks) and are now enrolled in Natural and Basic Science programmes at the B.Sc., B.S., International, and M.S. M.Sc./M.S. level.
  • Aspirants accepted into DAE-CBS (Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Basic Sciences), IISER (Indian Institutes of Science Education & Research), and NISER (National Institute of Science Education & Research, are also qualified to apply.
  • The candidates who have received awards from the KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna), NTSE, Olympiad medals, and Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) and are enrolled in B.Sc.-level courses in natural or basic sciences an M.Sc. eligible with a degree.

INSPIRE Scholarship 2023 (SHE) Selection Procedure

The eligibility requirements are used to evaluate each scholarship application submitted by a prospective INSPIRE scholar. A list of applicants that have been narrowed down is created based on this assessment. The following are the steps of selection for INSPIRE Scholarship.

  • Fill out INSPIRE online application form
  • Both the INSPIRE online portal & the INSPIRE programme website have the list of shortlisted aspirants available.
  • The chosen students must download the preliminary offer letter through the INSPIRE website.
  • For further evaluation, the chosen candidates must additionally upload the required files to their web portal within the allotted time frame.
  • Through DBT, the chosen applicants get their scholarship monies straight into their SBI bank accounts (Direct Bank Transfer).

The INSPIRE Program’s website accepts applications for the INSPIRE SHE online. The whole instructions for applying for the scholarship are provided below.

  • Through the online portal, applications are accepted for the scholarship.
  • On the INSPIRE programme site, log in as a new user and select “New User?” Sign up here. For registration, provide your name, birth date, gender, email, password, qualifying information, and verification code.
  • Your registered email address will send you a user ID and password. Click the activation link to open the account.
  • Keep scanned copies of all the needed papers, as listed above, on hand before filling out the application.
  • Enter your username & password to the INSPIRE scholarship site to log in.
  • In the application form, include all relevant information, such as your enrollment at the B.Sc. & Integrated M.Sc. levels, personal information, results from any national level competition exams, senior secondary performance data, contact information, and other information.
  • The ‘Print Preview’ option allows you to see all the specifics. Verify that all information and documents that you supply support the online application and are accurate.
  • Click the “Submit” button to submit your application form.
  • Take a printout of the completed application for your records after submitting the online scholarship application in its entirety.

INSPIRE SHE 2023 Rewards

Each chosen candidate receives a stipend of INR 80,000 per year through the SHE programme to study science and technology & pursue a career in research. The scholarship benefits can be obtained by candidates for a maximum of 05 years, or until the course is finished (whichever is earlier). INSPIRE Scholarship 2023 (SHE) Renewal Process

The following requirements must be met by INSPIRE scholars in order for their SHE scholarships to be renewed in future years.

  • The annual exams for students seeking renewal must provide at least 60% grades or a 7.0 GPA on a scale of a possible 10. (or 2 semesters).
  • The scholarship for that academic year will be cancelled if the applicant does not get the requisite marks on their B.Sc., BS, International M.Sc., or International MS test. If the student’s academic performance is good, the scholarship is renewed for the next academic year.
