What is AFMC MBBS?

A total of 150 seats are available, with 145 native Indians and 5 candidates from friendly foreign countries being sponsored by the government. Out of the 145 native Indian candidates, 115 boys and 30 girls will be chosen to pursue an MBBS at AFMC with the possibility of being commissioned as medical officers in the armed forces. Candidates will also be expected to perform as a commissioned army officer on command, both physically and mentally, in order to handle and respond to the most adver’s situations with the restricted resources that come with being an army officer. About AFMC PUNE

AFMC MBBS 2021 Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for the AFMC MBBS course 2021, the aspirant must meet a few basic prerequisites. All aspirants should be aware that if they do not meet any of the criteria, they will not be permitted to apply. Nationality and Marital Status

  • Indian citizens are the only ones who are eligible to apply. Foreign nationals of Indian origin can only be admitted to AFMC if they have Indian citizenship or a certificate of eligibility from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
  • Students who are not married are also eligible to apply. It is not authorised for students to marry throughout the course.
  • Aspirants must be medically healthy according to the Government of India’s Ministry of Defence’s criteria.
  • Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu & Kashmir residents are also eligible.

Age Criteria

  • As on December 31, 2021, the aspirant must be 17 years old.
  • The student’s maximum age for entrance is 24 years.

Education Qualification

  • Aspirants must have received at least 60% in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12th from a recognised university or institute.
  • Aspirants who have been accepted or who are taking the qualifying examination are also eligible.

Medical Standards for AFMC Pune

  • The aspirant must be physically and mentally fit, according to the AFMC Medical Standards.

AFMC MBBS ToLER Exam

This is an English language reasoning and logical aptitude test ToELR, as well as a psychological assessment test PAT, which will be conducted by the authority for the shortlisted candidates exclusively, with marks awarded appropriately.

  • The Test of English Language Comprehension, Logic, and Reasoning (ToELR) will be conducted at AFMC, Pune

The student’s guardians are needed to fill out a bond of 30 lacs if the applicant withdraws his admission after the admission process and seat assignment is completed.

Medical examination

AFMC MBBS 2021 Admission Procedure
