XAT 2022 – The XAT 2024 exam will take place on January 07, 2024 and the result for the same will be declared on 20 January 2024. The XAT 2024 MBA entrance test will be held by XLRI for admission to its different PGDM 2024-24 programmes and more than 160 MBA colleges, including XIMB, IMT, and TAPMI, among others. The XAT test 2024 registration and application process is done online for a price of Rs. 2000 instead of Rs.1800/- (Last-Year).
XAT score card will be accepted by more than 150 institutes affiliated with XLRI as well as more than 800 B schools and more than 75,000 candidate’s have appeared in this entrance exam, every year. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts in XAT.
What is XAT Exam?
XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is a national-level entrance exam which is conducted by XLRI (Xavier labour relations Institute), Jamshedpur, for all those aspirants who want to take admitted to management studies all over the nation. Xavier Aptitude Test is conducted by XLRI on behalf of XAMI (Xavier Association of Management Institutes).

XAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Here given the eligibility criteria of XAT 2024, candidates have to fulfil the below requirements to take admitted to MBA through XAT.
Citizenship
- The candidate must be Indian or NRI.
- Foreign candidates are also eligible to take admission but only through GMAT scores except for candidates from Dubai and Kathmandu.
Age criteria
- There is no minimum or maximum age required for admission to MBA.
Education qualification
- Candidates must have a 3-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from any recognised board in any stream.
- Final year aspirants are also eligible to appear in the entrance exam.

XAT 2024 Admission/Selection procedure
First, candidates have to register themselves by visiting the official website of XAT and then fill out the entire application form after that admit card of XAT will be released approx 2 weeks before the entrance exam and then appear in the entrance exam and after that result of XAT will be declared approx 1 month after the entrance exam.
The college will release their cut off and those students who have secured minimum cut-off marks are eligible to participate in group discussions and personal interviews. During this process, candidates are eligible to choose the best colleges affiliated with XLRI or other institutes of B school which accept the score of XAT.

XAT 2024 Application form
The application form for XAT 2024 will be released in the month of August. First, candidates have to register Themselves by visiting the official website with entering their name, phone number, email id, password and captcha code and then a verification link will be sent to your registered mail ID.
After clicking on this link, candidates are on the homepage again then candidates have to log in by using their email id and password and then candidate’s have to enter all the required detail and upload photograph and signature. The candidate also has to enter academic information and preferences of the exam centre. At last, candidates have to pay the application fee by using a credit card, debit card, UPI or net banking which is Rs. 2,000/-.

Admit card for XAT contain personal information along with the date, time and venue of the entrance exam. Admit cards for XAT are very important documents, candidates have to keep safe. XAT 2024 Exam pattern
Here is given the exam pattern of XAT, candidates have to know.
- The entrance exam will be online that is computer-based.
- Total hundred questions will be asked by the candidate in the entrance exam.
- The whole question paper will be 100 – 105 marks.
- All questions will carry an equal number of marks.
- The exam will be available only in the English language.
- The duration of the exam will be of 3 hours and 10 Minutes.

- General knowledge
- Multiple choice questions will be asked in the entrance exam.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks
- For Every correct answer, 1 mark is awarded.
- 0.10 marks are deducted for more than 8 un-attempt questions
- No negative marking in the general knowledge section.
- The Paper will be divided into part: part 1 contains decision-making and attractive ability interpretation of verbal and logical ability section and part 2 contain general knowledge.
- Both parts have had a different time limit

XAT 2024 Result
The result of XAT 2024 will be released approx 1 month after the entrance exam on the official website by the respective authority. Candidates can download their XAT result by login their portal using their username and password as a pdf. The result of XAT will contain personal information along with obtained marks. Candidates have to take a printout of the result of XAT and make two or more photocopies of it for future reference.

XAT 2024 Answer Key
A provisional answer key will be released within 2 days of the entrance exam on the official website of XAT by the respective authority. If candidates raise any issue in the answer key then they can inform the conducting body and then the final answer key will be released by the respective authority. Aspirants can calculate their approximate marks and rank on behalf of the answer key.
