What is IIT JAM?
JAM or Joint Admission Test for M.Sc is a national-level entrance examination which is conducted by the various IITs on a rotational basis on behalf of the Ministry of HR development, the government of India to provide admission in M.Sc or other post-bachelor courses which are offered by IIT’s (Indian Institute of Technology) as well as Integrated P.hd or dual degree courses which are offered by IISc (Indian Institute of Science), Bangalore.

IIT JAM 2023 Eligibility criteria
To get admission through IIT JAM, the Candidate must have to complete the below eligibility criteria.
Nationality
- Aspirants must be Indian nationals or from foreign Nations.
Age Limit
- There is no upper as well as lower age limit to appear in IIT JAM Entrance exam.
Educational Qualifications
- Aspirants must have a degree in bachelor’s or equivalent in science in any one of these subjects such as Biotechnology, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical statistics, Physics, Chemistry, and Economics.
- At least 55% aggregate marks are required for general/OBC candidates or 50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
Note – Final-year aspirants are also eligible to appear in the IIT JAM Entrance exam 2023.

IIT JAM 2023 Answer Key
