WBJEE counselling 2024 – The WBJEE 2024 eligible aspirants will be contacted for the WBJEE 2024 counselling, which is scheduled to begin in the third week of August 2024. WBJEE 2024 cutoff will be made public by the authority following each round of counselling. For admission to the West Bengal colleges that are participating, counselling will be held. WBJEE’s cutoff & counselling are based on the results of the WBJEE in 2024.
WBJEE counselling will start with registration and is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB). There will be conducted 3 rounds of counselling in which WBJEE rank holders can participate in all three rounds but JEE mains rank holders can participate only in one round. The counselling process will be conducted only in the online mode which is e-counselling. Aspirants can take admitted to all the government as well as private colleges of West Bengal through WBJEE counselling.
If the candidates want to take admission in BTech or B. Pharma then they must have the rank card of WBJEE and JEE Mains and if they want to take admitted to B.arch then they must have a rank card of NATA (NATA stand for National aptitude test in architecture which is conducted by counselling of architecture, Delhi to provide admission in B.arch course in India). The counselling process for admission to B.Tech through WBJEE & JEE Mains will be held together.

WBJEE 2024 Counselling procedure
WBJEE counselling will start after the successful declaration of WBJEE result. We have divided the WBJEE counselling procedure into five parts to make it easier for candidates to understand.
WBJEE Counselling 2024 Registration
Candidates will have to register themselves to participate in counselling by visiting the official website. Registration for all three counselling rounds will be done only once. Only those candidates are eligible for registration who have either qualified for JEE mains or WBJEE exam. To know the registration procedure, go through the below details.
Aspirants have to visit the official website of WBJEE and then click on the counselling registration link after that candidates have the option to register through WBJEE or JEE Mains or both. Candidates have to enter all the required details including application number, roll number, candidate name, and date of birth. After entering all the details, candidates have to click on the submit button and login details will be generated. Candidates have to keep this login detail for future use.
WBJEE 2024 Counselling fee
After successful registration, candidates have to pay a counselling fee. Candidates who will participate through WBJEE in Counseling do not have to pay a counselling fee but those who will participate in counselling through JEE Mains then have to pay a counselling fee which is 500. Counselling fees are not refundable. Candidates can pay the counselling fee through credit card, debit card, or net banking as well as through the e-challan of Allahabad Bank. After successful payment, candidates will allow participating in further counselling rounds.
WBJEE Counselling 2024 Choice filling and locking
Candidates have to fill in the choices in order of preference. Aspirants have to select at least 20 choices. Candidates are advised to select as many preference. Candidates have to select their choices according to the cutoff. After filling in choices don’t forget to lock their choices. Candidates can modify their choices before the specific final date. If the candidate forgets to lock their choices then the system will automatically lock their last saved choices. The candidate should take a printout of filled choices for future reference.
WBJEE Counselling 2024 Seat allotment
Seats will allott to the candidate on the basis of preference filled by the candidate, availability of seats, category, etc. Candidates can check their seat allotment results by login into their portal using the required details and No individual allotment letter will be sent to any candidate. If the seat is allotted to the candidate by the respective authority then the candidate has the option to
- accept and freeze the seat
- Except with the option of upgradation
- Do nothing
If the candidate selects accept and freeze option then they have to pay seat acceptance fees and are not eligible to participate in round 2. Payment can be done through credit card, debit card, net banking, or e-challan of Allahabad Bank. After successful payment, a provisional allotment letter will generate in your portal. Candidates can download their provisional allotment letter and take a printout of it and make two or more photocopies of it for future reference. If they select the second option then they have to pay the seat acceptance fee and they are eligible to participate in round 2. If aspirants are selected to do nothing then they are eligible to participate in round 3.
WBJEE Counselling 2024 Reporting
Candidates have to visit the allotted Institute along with all the originals as well as a set of photocopies of documents. Candidates have to verify their documents and take the allotment card and then-candidate have to go to the Institute with the allotment card. Further formalities will give to the candidate at the allotted Institute.
