Jee mains is an undergraduate-level entrance exam which is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) to offer admission in various B.Tech and B.Arch programmes of different Institutes. JMI B.Tech Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Jamai university does not set any eligibility criteria for admission other than Jee Main scorecard. Before applying for JMI B tech admission, candidates have to check all the eligibility criteria which are given below.
Age Criteria
- The aspirant must be at least 17 years old.
Education qualification for B.tech course
- Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent exam from any recognised board.
- The candidate must have studied physics, chemistry & mathematics as the main subject.
- A minimum of 55% marks are required in the qualifying exam for admission.
- The candidate who has a 3 or 4-year diploma in Engineering and passed with 55% marks is also eligible to apply to JMI B tech.
Education qualification for B.Arch course
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 level of education from any recognised board.
- Candidate must have studied physics Chemistry Maths in 12th.
- 50% marks required in the qualifying exam
JMI B.Tech 2024 Admission procedure
To take admission to B.tech at JMI, candidates have to fill out the application form for JEE Mains and then fill out the online application form for JMI BTech from the official website of JMI. After the declaration of JEE main result candidates has to add their result to JMI Application and participate in the counselling for JMI BTech admission. In counselling, candidates are allotted seats by the respective authority and then they have to pay the admission fees and their admission will be done.
JMI B.Tech Admission 2024 Application Form
Candidates have to visit the official website of JMI and then register themselves and after that candidates have to fill out the entire application form. Candidates have to fill out their personal information like name, gender etc and then fill in family information like father’s name, mother’s name etc.
And then fill out their communication information like valid email id and address etc and then upload the required documents and then pay application fees. debit cards, credit cards, and net banking are the method of payment. don’t forget to take a printout of the application form and make 2 or more photocopies of it for future reference.
JMI B.Tech Admission 2024 Counselling Procedure
There will be a declared rank list on behalf of the result of JEE Mains and then JMI conduct counselling on behalf of the result. Candidates have to participate in the counselling. Candidates are allotted a seat on the basis of the rank list of JEE Mains Candidates have to pay the admission fee and their admission will be done.

JMI B.Tech Admission 2024 Seat Matrix
There is a total of 350 seats in all the branches of the B.tech course and 70 seats are distributed to each branch. In the B.Arch branch, there is a total of 80 seats and 40 seats are distributed to each branch.

JMI B.Tech Admission 2024 Fee structure
The fee structure of Jamia Millia Islamia is affordable for every medal-class family but there is lots of competition. For every branch of BTECH candidates have to pay 16,150 per year and for BArch, candidates have to pay 11,150 for BArch Self financed, candidates have to pay 64,790 per year.
