Indian Air Force XY Group 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The Indian Air Force is looking for Airmen in Groups X and Y for the February 2024 course. The Indian Air Force (IAF) is accepting online applications from unmarried male Indian and Nepalese residents. The eligibility criteria for various entries are listed below. Interested male candidates must meet all of the Indian Air Force Group X Y eligibility requirements. Aspirants who do not meet the Indian Air Force Group X Y eligibility criteria 2024 will be disqualified from the recruiting process.
Nationality

Age Criteria
- Aspirants for the Indian Air Force Group X Y 2024 recruiting must be born between January 16, 2002, and December 29, 2005.

Education Qualification for X Group (Except Education Instructor Trade)
- Aspirants must have passed the 10+2/equivalent exam With Mathematics, Physics, and English.

- Aspirants must have passed a three-year diploma course in engineering in any stream with a minimum of 50% overall and 50% in English.

- They must have a 50 per cent overall score and a 50 per cent English score.
Eligibility Criteria for Group Y (Medical Assistant Trade Only)
- Aspirants must have studied Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English in the Intermediate exam.
- They should have 50% marks in English subjects.
Medical posts are largely posted in the states of South India. In Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, for example. This is determined by the higher air force of the same states.
Aspirants who are eligible for Group ‘X’ examinations (depending on their percentage of intermediate/10+2) are also eligible for Group Y examinations and have the option of taking both. This option can be specified when filling out the online registration form.

Phase I
Aspirants have to fill out the online registration form for Indian Air Force XY group 2024 by visiting the official website. and then Download the Admit card & Appeared in the Examination. After that results will be declared and Qualified candidates will call for Phase II.
Phase II
After passing Phase I, which is an online test, the CASB will determine a cut-off mark, and aspirants will be selected for Phase II of the Indian Air Force Group X & Y selection process. The Airmen Selection Centre will host Phase II of the Indian Air Force Selection Process.
Required Document at the Phase II Center
The Indian Air Force Group X and Y phase II examination admit card can be downloaded via applicants’ login, and the following documents are required.
- For those currently employed in government organisations, a NOC and four self-attested photocopies from their employer are required.
- Blue/Black Ball Point Pen, HB Pencil, Eraser, Glue Stick, Stapler
- Original Phase I admit card with Indian Air Force seal and invigilator’s signature used during Phase I testing.
- 8 copies of an unattested current colour passport-size photograph (which was utilised for the online application registration).
- 4 self-attested photocopies of the NCC ‘A’, ‘B’, or ‘C’ certificate, as well as the original.
- 4 photocopies of the 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent Examination Mark Sheet & Passing Certificate that have been self-attested.
- Phase II of the Admit Card is printed out.

Selection procedure and Stages of Phase II
Phase II of the Indian Air Force Groups X and Y protocol is as follows.
Aspirants should bring the above-mentioned documents to the selection test, which will be scrutinized/verified prior to the start of Phase II, in order to determine their prima-facie eligibility.
Aspirant’s who clear the Online Exam and are nominated on the CASB Web Portal www.airmenselection.cdac.in on a specific date will be summoned to a designated Airmen Selection Center for a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) consisting of 1.6 kilometres to be completed in 06 minutes and 30 seconds.
Aspirants must also accomplish a minimum of 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats within the time limit to pass the Physical Fitness Test.
Note – Aspirants are encouraged to wear their athletic shoes and shorts/track pants.
Adaptability Test 1 (Applicable for both Group X & Y)
All applicants who pass the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) will be required to take the Adaptability Test-1 (objective type – written test) to determine their suitability for a job role in the Indian Air Force that requires deployment in a variety of geographical terrain, climates, and operational conditions.
Adaptability Test 2 (Applicable for both Group X & Y)
In accordance with current policy, all applicants who pass the Adaptability Test-1 must take the Adaptability Test-2. The Adaptability Test-2 is used to identify people who can adapt to the Indian Air Force environment and lifestyle.
Medical Exam
Aspirants who pass the Adaptability Test-II will be given a letter of medical appointment at the respective ASCs. It can also be obtained from the CASB website, www.airmenselection.cdac.in, for medical examination at a designated Medical Boarding Center (MBC) on a specific date. The medical examination would be conducted by the Indian Air Force Medical Team in compliance with IAF medical standards.

Salary of the IAF Group X and Y 2024
