GAT B 2023 – On June 9, NTA published GAT-B provisional scorecard for 2023 on their official website. On May 19 & 20, NTA began and ended the GAT-B answer key 2023 challenge session at the official website. On May 11, the GAT-B hall ticket was released. Prior to that, on May 8, the GAT-Biotechnology city allocation for 2023 expired. The GAT-B test, which was given on May 13, lasted three hours. About GAT Biotechnology
GAT stands for Graduate Aptitude Test. The DBT-supported Postgraduate programmes in biotechnology and related fields are offered at the partnering universities, and applicants must pass the Biotechnology entrance exam to get admitted. This test is administered by NTA each year. Candidates will be assigned seats at the GAT-B participating universities based on their performance on the Entrance test and the availability of seats. In GAT-Biotechnology 2023, there are 30+ participating universities, including JNU & SPPU, and 1,127 seats are available in 62 PG programmes. Admission to Post Graduate Programmes in Biotechnology and Related Fields at Participating Institutions is granted through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Biotechnology, an all-India entrance exam funded by the DBT.

GAT B 2023 Eligibility Criteria

M.Tech | Candidates must hold a B.Tech or BE degree in the relevant stream with a minimum cumulative score of 60% (General, EWS, and OBC categories) or 55% (SC, ST, and PwD categories) from the participating university in order to be eligible for M.Tech programmes. |
M.Sc | Only those applicants who have finished their undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline using the 10+2+3 pattern from an accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 60% (General, EWS, and OBC category) or 55% (SC, ST, and PwD) are eligible for admission to M.Sc. courses. |
M.VSc Animal Biotechnology | Aspirants must have a B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from an accredited institution, or an equivalent degree, & a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 6.60 on a scale of 10.0, 2.60 on a scale of 1.00, or 60% in the conventional system. Candidates from the reserved categories (SC/ST) must get at least 50% of the available points, or 5.60 on a 10-point scale, and 2.20 on a 4 point scale. |
