CLAT Exam Pattern 2024

To know the CLAT 2024 Exam Pattern, Go through the following details.

  • The CLAT Exam 2024 will be offline on the OMR sheet.
  • The Exam will be in the English Language and Candidates will not have the option to change the language.
  • 150 Questions will be asked to each candidate in CLAT Exam.
  • The duration of the CLAT exam 2024 will be 2 hours or 120 Minutes.
  • The type of Questions asked in CLAT Exam will be MCQs.
  • 1 Mark will be awarded for each correct answer, meaning the entire paper will be 150 Marks.
  • 0.25 Marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. To better understand, let’s go through the example If your 4 answers are wrong (i.e. 0.25*4=1) then one of your correct answers will also be considered wrong.

CLAT Syllabus 2024

Aspirants’ understanding and reasoning skills and talents will be evaluated in the CLAT Exam 2024. Generally, it is intended to test the knowledge of aspirants in the field of legal education and the prior knowledge may be relevant in answering of Current Affairs portion. English Language

In this section, 5 to 6 Passages will be asked of candidates that are around 450 words each. The solving level of passage is easy to moderate and based on the level of class 12. To make this section excellent, aspirants have to read English newspapers daily for 01 or 02 hours as well as solve daily 06 passages and try to complete them within 30 minutes.

Logical or Critical Reasoning

Aspirants have to be knowledgeable of laws and constitutions because, in logical reasoning sections, you have to give the answer to the question after understanding the situation. The following are the topics that are covered in the logical reasoning section.

  • Forcefulness of Arguments
  • Inferences
  • Premises & Conclusion
  • Strengthening and Weakening arguments

Legal Reasoning

This section you can easily cover if you do not learn instead of understanding because, in this section, you will have to give the answer after understanding the fact as well as the situation of that time and put the proper laws on that condition then choose the answer.
