BDS Course Details – BDS or Bachelor of dental surgery is an undergraduate-level course which is offered by many medical colleges. BDS is a 5 Year Course in which 4-year study and 1-year internship. BDS Course Detail – Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criterion of BDS is set by the Respective Authority of DCI. Before taking admission to Bachelor of dental surgery, know its eligibility criteria which are given below
Age criteria
- The age of the candidate should be at least 17 years on or after 31 December of the year when the candidate wants to take admission.
- The maximum age limit is up to 25 years.
Education Qualifications
- Aspirants should have passed class 12th or equivalent exams with 50% marks.
- Candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry Biology/Bio-technology and English as the main subject in class 12th.
- A 40% Mark is required for reserved category candidates.
- NEET exam must be given by the candidates.
Note – According to the rules and regulations of MCI, No candidate can graduate from Distance Learning in BDS.
BDS course details – Admission Procedure
To take admission to the BDS course, Aspirants have to complete the eligibility criteria of it and giving the NEET exam is compulsory. From registration of NEET exam to result in the declaration, NTA has to handle all the responsibilities and then DCI handles all the responsibilities from counselling to admission in the Bachelor of dental surgery Course.
First of all, Aspirants have to register for NEET exam After that they will get the admit card NEET, on which the date, time and venue of their exam will be written then attend the exam and wait for the result. BDS Course details – Fee Structure
Different colleges have different fees structure for Bachelor of dental surgery courses. Some college fees are high and some colleges are low.
