JNU MA Admission 2023 – JNU or Jawaharlal Nehru University offers a Master of Arts in various fields through CUET PG 2023 entrance exam. The registration of CUET PG 2023 will start in May 2023 and the last CUET PG registration 2023 will be in June 2023. Every year, more than 1 lakh students applied for JNU admission. Jawaharlal Nehru University is a public central university that is situated in Delhi and offers lots of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. There are 30+ postgraduate programs in which more than 1000 seats are available. JNU offers various types of MA programs through CUET PG Entrance exam that is conducted by NTA or National Testing Agency. Last year, Admission was done on the basis of JNUEE, and this year, the admission procedure has been changed.

JNU MA Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

If the aspirants want to take admitted to the MA course at JNU University then they have to fulfil the requirement that is following.

  • There is no specific age limit for the aspirants to enrol.

Economics (Honours) with Mathematics as a subsidiary subject;
or
Mathematics (Honours) with Economics as a subsidiary subject;

Statistics (Honours) with Economics and Mathematics as subsidiary subjects.

(ii) Any other Bachelor’s degree (with 60% marks in aggregate) with courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Mathematical Economics, and Statistics.

The aspirants who have obtained their Bachelor’s degree will be considered for admission to Advanced Diploma in Mass Media in Urdu if they have successfully completed the first year of the Master’s degree program or a bridge course in lieu thereof, wherever prescribed, from a recognized University with at least a minimum of 45% marks.

JNU MA Admission 2023 Admission Procedure

Admission to MA at JNU will be based on CUET PG entrance exam. The Work of NTA has started with the conduct of the entrance exam and ends with the announcement of the result. After that, the counselling will be conducted by JNU itself. The following are the steps to take admission to JNU MA.

  • Fill out CUET PG 2023 application form
  • Download CUET PG admit card, whenever the authority released
  • Appeared in CUET PG Entrance Exam as per scheduled
  • Check the CUET PG result, whenever declared
  • Participate in JNU MA Counselling for final admission that has been conducted by JNU itself.

JNU MA Admission 2023 Counselling

After the announcement of CUET PG entrance exam result, JNU will conduct counselling for admission. First, Aspirants have to register themselves by entering the required details and entrance exam marks. Then they will have filled their choices in order of preference. Candidates will get the seat according to their marks and then they have to pay the admission fee for confirmation.
