IP University offers 4 yrs B.Design program with various specializations. Also, IPU provides a direct 2nd-year entry in the B.Des program through lateral entry only to diploma holders. IPU CET B.Des Code is 600 whereas for IPU CET B.Des LE is 613. Admission to 4 yrs B.Design program of IPU will be based on the merit list of UCEED / NIDDAT / NIFT Aptitude Exam / JEE Part – II / NATA etc and if the seats remain vacant then IPU provides admission on behalf of IPU CET B.Des entrance exam. Aspirants must have successfully completed the 10+2 examination in any stream administered by any recognized Board of Education with a minimum combined score of 55% (percent will be determined using the top 5 subjects).
IPU B.Des LE Eligibility Criteria (Lateral Entry)
Any recognized Institute/University/Board recognized by AICTE must award a three-year diploma, B.Sc., B.Voc. Degree, or equivalent examination in subjects related to design (interior design, architecture, or applied arts and crafts) with a minimum of 50% marks overall.

IPU CET B.Des 2023 Admission Procedure
If aspirants want to take admitted through the national level entrance exam then they have to fill out the ipu registration form and wait for counselling. Then as soon as the counselling starts, aspirants have to register for counselling and participate in it. IPU gives the option to that student who does not register prior but in both cases, aspirants have to spend a total of Rs. 2,200/- (Rs. 1,200/- for registration and Rs. 1,000/- for counselling). For B.Des admission and B.Des lateral entry through IPU CET and IPU LEET respectively. In both ways, aspirants have to follow the same step. Admission to GGSIPU’s B.Des program will be based on the IPU CET, which is held annually by the IPU’s appropriate authority in an online format. The processes for applying to GGSIPU are as follows.

IPU CET B.Des 2023 Merit List
The larger of the two percentages will be utilized to determine the student’s position on the merit list if they have taken both the university-conducted CET and the national-level design test. A merit list will be created, with a weightage of 100% ( 50% university-conducted CET results or any National Level Design exam scores and 50% 10+2 score).
For Lateral Entry, Candidates must be eligible for the University’s LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test). The University LEET would be used to determine merit-based admissions.
IPU CET B.Des 2023 Counselling
Only the official website will be used to publish the B.Des merit list. If an aspirant’s name appears in the merit list then they must go into their account & fill out their choices in order of preference, remembering to lock the selections. The starting stage in the counselling process will be document verification, and the last step will be payment of the admission fee of Rs. 40,000/-.
