What is IIT JAM?
JAM or Joint Admission Test for M.Sc is a national-level entrance examination which is conducted by the various IITs on a rotational basis on behalf of the Ministry of HR development, the government of India to provide admission in M.Sc or other post-bachelor courses which are offered by IIT’s (Indian Institute of Technology) as well as Integrated P.hd or dual degree courses which are offered by IISc (Indian Institute of Science), Bangalore.

IIT JAM 2024 Eligibility criteria
To get admission through IIT JAM, the Candidate must have to complete the below eligibility criteria.
Nationality
- Aspirants must be Indian nationals or from foreign Nations.
Age Limit
- There is no upper as well as lower age limit to appear in IIT JAM Entrance exam.
Educational Qualifications
- Aspirants must have a degree in bachelor’s or equivalent in science in any one of these subjects such as Biotechnology, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical statistics, Physics, Chemistry, and Economics.
- At least 55% aggregate marks are required for general/OBC candidates or 50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
Note – Final-year aspirants are also eligible to appear in the IIT JAM Entrance exam 2024.

IIT JAM Application form 2024 is filled out only in online mode, which can be filled by visiting the official website candidates have the option to apply for a maximum of two test papers at a time but for appearing in the second test, they have to pay additional charges.

After registration is closed, IIT JAM Correction Window is opened for every duration for all those candidates who made mistakes in their application form and this is the last chance for candidates to rectify their mistakes.

IIT Madras release JAM Admit cards only in online mode and candidates can download them by login their portal. Candidates have taken a printout of it and carried it along with any one identity proof to the exam centre. Admit card of IIT JAM contains the date, time and venue of the entrance exam.
IIT JAM 2024 Appear in the exam
Aspirants have to appear in the IIT JAM entrance exam at the allotted centre on the scheduled time and aspirants could take at most two IIT JAM exams, if both the entrance exam is being conducted in different sessions.

IIT JAM 2024 Answer Key

IIT JAM 2024 Result
