Delhi University or DU offer a BA Honours Arabic course through ZHDC (Zakir Husain Delhi College). BA Hons Arabic at DU is a full-time regular course with a duration of 03 years. The minimum eligibility requirement for the same is 12th. Along with the 12th pass, candidates have to clear the CUET exam conducted by NTA. But the final result of admission will be declared by DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).

DU BA Hons Arabic 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can take admission to the BA Hons Arabic course at DU by fulfilling the following criteria.
- Age Criteria
- There is no age limit set by DU for DU BA Hons Arabic program admission.
- Education Qualification
- Candidates must have passed in 12th with an aggregate score of 50%.
- Aspirants with compartments are ineligible for the programme.
- Exam Qualification
- Aspirants must have clear CUET UG with their intermediate studied subjects.

DU BA Hons Arabic 2023 Subject Selection & Exam Pattern
For admission, the CUET exam is mandatory for all candidates. But candidates face lots of problems in subject selection. There are two combinations of subject selection for BA Hons Arabic. The candidate has to select either combination 1 or combination 2. The combinations are the following.
Combination – I
- Arabic is mandatory to select from list A.
- Candidates can select any two subjects from list B1
- The candidate has to select one more subject either from list B1 or list B2.
OR
Combination – II
- Candidate can select any one language from list A.
- Any of the two subjects from list B1.
- They need to select one more subject either from list B1 or list B2.
Note:
- The highest CUET score received from any of the combinations will be used to determine merit.
- The seat preference will be given to those candidates who select combination I. If seats remain vacant even after the admission of the candidates who have selected Combination One, then the seats will be given to the students who select Commission Two.

DU BA Hons Arabic 2023 Admission Procedure & Counselling

- Candidates have to register themselves on the official website of CSAS.
- In the second stage, aspirants have to select their course and college in order of preference.
- The third stage is seat allocation.
If the candidate has qualified for the cutoff of selected college and course then the candidates get the seat. Now, Aspirants have the option to freeze the seat or wait for better. The candidate can reserve a spot by paying for it. For final admission, candidates have to go with the document verification. Document verification will be done at the selected college.
