DTU or Delhi Technical University offers two types of B.Tech, one is full-time regular, and the other is part-time evening. Admission procedures are different for both B.Tech and DTU offers various specializations in it.
DTU B.Tech
DTU B.Tech is a full-time regular program. However, DTU does not conduct its own entrance exam and counselling for the same. Admission to full-time regular B.Tech at DTU is based on JEE Mains Score and is done through JAC (Joint Admission Committee) Counselling. JEE Mains entrance exam is held twice a year and is conducted by NTA. Once this exam has been done in June and the second time this exam will be held in the month of July. Then-candidate has to participate in JAC counselling for admission. DTU has various specializations for full-time regular B.Tech. There is a total of 15 specializations provided by the DTU in B.Tech program. The following is the list of DTU B.Tech specializations.

DTU B.Tech Lateral Entry
Lateral entry to DTU B.Tech means admission direct into 2 years for which DTU conducts CEE (Common Entrance Exam). For DTU B.Tech Lateral Entry, It conducts its own entrance exam and counselling. Candidate has to appear and clear CEE to be part of lateral entry then He/She has to participate in the counselling for final admission. There will be two papers in this test. All programs will take the same first paper, whereas each program will take a different second paper. DTU has a total of 15 specializations in B.Tech but it offers only 09 through the lateral entry and the list is mentioned below.

DTU B.Tech Evening
DTU B.Tech. Evening or DTU B.Tech under continuing education for working professionals is a part-time evening program that is specially designed for working people. DTU B.Tech Evening admission is also done through DTU CEE. Two papers will be included in this test. The first paper will be the same for all programs, whereas the second paper will vary depending on the program. DTU offers just 02 of the entire 15 B.Tech specializations in the evening program, the list is shown below.

DTU BTech Admission2023 Eligibility Criteria
If the aspirants want to take admitted to the B.Tech course of DTU then they have to fulfill the requirement that is following.
B.Tech
- Candidate has a valid scorecard card for JEE Main Exam.
B.Tech Lateral Entry
- The candidate has 3 years of regular diploma program in the relevant field recognized by AICTE.
- He/She has 60% (55% for OBC and 50% for SC/ST/PWD) required marks in qualifying exams for general and EWS categories.
B.Tech Evening
- The aspirant has a minimum of 3 years of full-time regular diploma in a relevant branch of engineering which is recognized by AICTE.
- He/She has 2 years of working experience and the location of the company should locate within a radius of 50 km of DTU i.e. Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Sonepat, Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida & Greater Noida), and Gurugram, etc.
- ITI + 2 years regular diploma.
- 4 years part-time diploma.
- 60% (55% for OBC and 50% for SC/ST/PWD) required marks for general and EWS category candidates in qualifying examinations.
DTU B.Tech CEE 2023 Exam Pattern
Here is given below the DTU B.Tech Exam Pattern so that aspirants become familiar with the pattern.
- DTU CEE will contain a total of 90 MCQs.
- The duration of DTU CEE will be 2 hours.
- Four marks will be given for every correct answer whereas one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- DTU CEE will start at sharp 11:00 am at DTU.

Plane Euclidean coordinate lines, parabolas, circles, symmetry, transformations, three-dimensional solids, surface area, and volume (cylinders, cones, pyramids, spheres, prisms), trigonometry right triangles, identities.
Data analysis, statistics, and probability
Mean, median, mode, range interquartile range, graphs, and plots, least squares regression (linear), probability.
General aptitude and reasoning
series completion, blood relation, direction sense, number, ranking and time sequence, mathematical operation, arithmetical reasoning, and inserting the missing character.

DTU B.Tech CEE 2023 Application Form
At the time of the application form filling, the candidate has all the relevant and required details. First, a candidate has to register themselves by entering all the details like name, email, mobile number, etc. Then complete the rest of the application form by providing personal, communication, academic details, etc. He/She needs to upload all the required documents in a valid format and then pay the application form fee of Rs. 1,500/- by using net banking, credit card, debit card, etc.
DTU B.Tech CEE 2023 Admit Card
Only those whose applications are complete will be given a DTU LEET 2023 admission card. Using their login information, candidates can download their admission cards. No applicant will be permitted to show up for the test without an admission card. This document must be used. It includes information about the candidates, the exam’s schedule, the location, the rules for the exam day, etc.
DTU B.Tech CEE 2023 Result
After the test, a merit list and result for the DTU LEET 2023 will be created. On the official website, the same information will be posted. Aspirants can view their online results and print them off for their records. Until the admissions process is complete, aspirants must keep their scorecards secure.
DTU B.Tech 2023 Counselling
