What is AIEED?
AIEED or All India Entrance Examination for Design is held by Arch CDB (Arch College of Design and Business) to give admission to its pg (postgraduate) and UG (undergraduate) design courses. The ARCH Academy of Design admission exam’s major goal is to assess applicants’ “aesthetic sense, inventiveness, and design sensitivity of students pursuing rewarding professions in many sectors of design.” ARCH College was founded in the year 2000 under the direction of Arch Educational Society but in the year 2010, ARCH College launched and conducted AIEED.

AIEED 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for AIEED entrance exam 2024, Aspirants need to fulfil the eligibility requirements of AIEED 2024 which are mentioned below.
Age Criteria
- According to AIEED respective authority, Aspirants should not be more than 16 Years old.
Education Qualification for Undergraduate Courses
- Aspirants must have a 10+2 Level of education from a recognised board.
- Appearing candidates for the qualifying exam are also eligible for AIEED Exam 2024.
Education Qualification for Postgraduate Courses
- Aspirants must have a graduation or equivalent degree in any discipline from any recognised board.
- Final-year Appearing aspirants are also eligible to appear in AIEED.
- Those who have a valid score of NATA/AIEEE are directly eligible for the Personal Interview round.
AIEED 2024 Exam Stages & Pattern
There are three stages of AIEED entrance exam that are the following.
- GAT
- CAT
- Personal Interview
Note: For Postgraduate admission, Aspirants do not need to appear in CAT (Creative Ability Test)
GAT – General Ability Test
The first stage of admission to AIEED is GAT. The GAT or General Ability Test is held online. There will be 60 questions totalling 100 points. The test will take two hours to complete. The question will be based on Design Sensitivity, Logical Reasoning, Design-Related Awareness, Global Issues Awareness, and Concepts Comprehension.
CAT – Creative Ability Test
Then the second stage is CAT. The CAT or Creative Ability Test is held online. The test will include 50 questions & will take 3 hours to complete. There will be a total of 200 points awarded. Articulation Skills (both written and visual), Design Thinking, Lateral Thinking & Creative Problem Solving, and Awareness of Design Principles will all be covered on the test.
Video, Portfolio & Interaction
Those clear both stages are called for the third stage which is the Personal Interview round. The test will last 30 minutes & will be worth 200 points. Composure, focus, clarity, general articulation abilities, depth of thought, and portfolio range will all be included.

AIEED 2024 Admission Procedure
Aspirants for ARCH Academy of Design’s undergraduate design programmes are chosen solely on the basis of merit. For the final AIEED selection process, the student’s performance in all of the following factors is taken into account.
- The Aspirants’ performance in the previous schoolings, such as 10+2 marks and 10th marks.
- Exam score in GAT & CAT Papers for AIEED 2024.
- The Aspirant’s performance in the interview & portfolio test that they appeared.
AIEED 2024 Application Form
First, Aspirants have to fill out AIEED application form 2024 by visiting the official website of AIEED. Then enter all the required details like personal, academic etc & upload all the required documents. At last, Aspirants must have to pay the application fees of Rs. 3,000/- online/offline. Online through net banking, credit card, and debit card whereas offline through demand draft.
AIEED 2024 Admit Card
For AIEED test, candidates must get their admit cards from AIEED official website. 7 days before the online/offline AIEED exam, admit cards are accessible. Aspirants will also receive a link to their AIEED admit card 2024 on their enrolled mobile phone numbers.
AIEED Entrance Exam Homo protocol
AIEED is divided into two parts: Series 1 & Series 2. Candidates should be aware that the Series 2 entrance exam is only held if there are seats available for admission. AIEED 2024 Counselling
Shortlisted aspirants must attend AIEED counselling 2024 and have their papers verified. Aspirants must pay the admission fee within the time frame specified in the selection letter in order to secure a place. Candidates who have been accepted but are awaiting their 12th-grade results must present a non-judicial stamp of Rs 50 stating that their admission is conditional on completing the qualifying test.

AIEED 2024 Placement
