NIFT 2023 – The B.Des, BF.Tech, M.Des, MFM, & MFTech entrance exams are administered by the National Institute of Fashion Technology on NIFT campuses. NIFT 2023 will likely take place in an online-remote supervised format during the first week of February 2023. What is NIFT Entrance Exam?

Every year, the Nationwide Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) holds a national entrance test for applicants to its numerous UG and PG Fashion and Design programs. NIFT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
NIFT admittance requirements differ depending on the program. In order to take the NIFT entrance test, candidates must be eligible according to the NIFT eligibility requirements 2023.
NIFT BDes Eligibility Criteria 2023
- To be eligible to take the NIFT admission test in 2023, Aspirants must have earned passing grades in their Class 12 from an accredited board. Applicants seeking NIFT admission in 2023 must be younger than 23.
NIFT BFTech Eligibility Criteria 2023
- Aspirants must have completed their Class 12 education from an accredited board, with coursework in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. The Class 12 test should have yielded passing grades for the Aspirants.
NIFT MDes Eligibility Criteria 2023
- Applicant must have earned their UG degree from a university-recognized institution. The MDes program at NIFT does not have an age restriction.
NIFT MFTech Eligibility Criteria 2023
- To qualify for enrollment in the MFTech program, applicants must have completed a BFTech course as an undergraduate. There is no upper age limit for NIFT entrance to the MFTech program.
NIFT MFM Eligibility Criteria 2023
- Aspirants must have earned their undergraduate degree from a university-recognized institution. There is no upper age limit for admission to the MFM program at NIFT.
Note: Class 12 appear candidates are also eligible to take admission to undergraduate courses.
Aspirants who have a 3 or 4-year diploma in the field of engineering are also eligible for postgraduation admission.

NIFT CAT (Creative Ability Test) Exam Pattern
The creative exam is administered to students in both UG and PG programs to evaluate their conceptual thinking, inventive colour usage, illustration abilities, and strength of observation.
Situation Test
The scenario exam assesses a candidate’s capacity for creativity and material management in a particular circumstance. Candidates must develop a model and offer a brief explanation of the subject. The model will be judged on its originality, ingenuity, ability to visualize space, use of colour, and overall presentation.
GD/PI round
Aspirants must show up for the GD & PI round if they pass the written test. The group discussion portion of the interview lasts 15 to 20 minutes, during which applicants are evaluated on their interpersonal, problem-solving, leadership, and other abilities. An aspirant’s general knowledge, career orientation, aptitude, communication skills, etc. are evaluated during the personal interview.

NIFT 2023 Syllabus
The following is the detailed syllabus of NIFT.
- Questions on fundamental mathematical operations such as addition, multiplication, division, fractions, percentage, rate of interest, work and task, ratio and proportion, and distance make up the quantitative ability section.
- The Communication Ability and English Comprehension tests examine applicants’ language proficiency in the context of using English as a medium of communication on a regular basis. It assesses the applicants’ understanding of idioms and frequent phrases, singular/plural words, one-word substitutions, synonyms, antonyms, and words and their meanings, as well as their knowledge of accurate spelling, reading comprehension, and other skills.
- The Analytical Ability and Logical Ability evaluate the applicant’s ability to use logic and draw conclusions from the material provided, as well as their capacity to recognize problems and use reason to come up with solutions. Candidates will benefit from having creative and lateral thinking in this part.
- The general knowledge and current events portion would assess the applicants’ knowledge of these topics.

NIFT 2023 Application Form
On the official website, applicants must fill out an online application for the NIFT Exam. Fill out the NIFT 2023 Application Form after creating an account on the official website. The applicant’s login information will be emailed to the registered email address after a successful registration. Aspirants should save a copy of this email for their records. To access and complete the application form, log in using the provided credentials.
Complete all required fields with accurate information. The Online Application Form requires applicants to provide scanned copies of the necessary documentation. Aspirants must use a credit or debit card to pay their application fee, or they can use a demand draught instead (DD). It is advisable that candidates save a printout or photocopy of their NIFT Entrance Exam application form for future reference in addition to their payment receipt.

NIFT Entrance Exam 2023 Admit Card
The NIFT admission card will only be accessible online for download. To get their admit card for the NIFT test, candidates must go to the National Institute of Fashion Technology’s official website. Aspirants are advised that under no circumstances will they receive their NIFT 2023 admit card by any other method, such as hand delivery or postal delivery. Name, roll number, information about the exam site, date, and time are all included on the admission card. The admission card must be brought to the testing location. NIFT Exam 2023 Result
Aspirants can use their login ID and password to check their results. The outcome will be announced twice: first following the Written Test and again (the final outcome) following the Situation Test. The selected applicants must present for a situation exam, group discussion, and interview after passing the written test. The aspirant’s overall score in the written test and the group discussion will be used to create the final merit list. Following that, aspirants will be invited to a counselling session where places at various universities will be assigned.

Admissions counselling is handled by the NIFT for both UG & PG programs. Aspirants can sign up for online counselling on the official website after passing the GAT& CAT. Following the counselling process, candidates who are shortlisted will be entitled to apply for admission to UG and PG programs.
