JEE Advanced 2024 – JEE Advanced application form 2024 will available on the official website for all eligible Indian citizens in the month of August. JEE Advanced 2024 Eligibility criteria
The JEE Advanced eligibility criteria are the requirements that all aspirants must meet in order to be considered for the exam and admission procedure. Aspirants who are determined to be ineligible for admission shall be disqualified. The following are the eligibility requirements for JEE Advanced 2024.
Age Criteria
- Aspirants in the general category must have been born on or after October 1, 1998.
- Aspirants from the SC/ST/PWD categories are given 5-year age relaxation.
Educational Qualifications
- JEE Advanced is open to students who passed their class 12 test in 2020 or who are scheduled to take it in 2024.
JEE Main
- Aspirants must have passed the JEE Main exam and rank among the top 2,50,000 aspirants in order of merit. The aspirants must also meet the cutoff for admission to IITs.
Attempt Limit
- Aspirants for JEE Advanced would be permitted to take the exam again in two years.
IIT Admissions
Regardless of whether they finished the training or just accepted the seat by reporting to the centre, the aspirants should never have taken admitted to an IIT. Aspirants who had previously enrolled in an IIT but afterwards cancelled their admission would not be considered eligible for JEE Advanced.
Foreign Nationals
At the time of registration for JEE(Advanced), aspirants who are not Indian citizens by birth but have studied overseas at the 10+2 level are treated as foreign nationals. Foreign nationals are given supernumerary seats, with a maximum of 10% of the total number of seats in each course.
