What is IPU MBBS Admission?
GGSIPU or IP University offers MBBS course and the duration for the same is 5.5 years. The CET code for MBBS at IPU is 103. Admission to MBBS at IP University is based on NEET-UG Score. There are more than 500 seats in total. NEET Exam qualification is mandatory for admission. Aspirants must first complete an online registration form before paying the participation fee for MBBS admission for the academic year 2023-23. IPU MBBS admissions for 85 per cent of state quota seats will be handled by GGSIPU in 2023. IPU MBBS Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria
If the aspirants want to take admitted to the MBBS course of IP University then they have to fulfil the requirements that are followed.
Nationality
- An aspirant must be an Indian/Overseas Indian/Nepali national. Foreign nationals & non-resident Indians are not eligible.
Age Criteria
- On or before December 31st of the year of admission, the aspirant must have reached the age of 17.
- The maximum age limit is 25 years old as of December 31st of the entrance year.
- SC/ST/OBC applicants will be given a 5-year age relaxation on the maximum age prescribed.
Education Qualification
- The aspirant must have passed 12th Class or an equivalent exam from an Indian state’s recognized university or board.
- Individually, the aspirant must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
- Candidates must have received a combined score of at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology (40 per cent for SC/ST/OBC).
Medical Criteria
- On medical examination, the aspirant must be medically fit to pursue the assigned course.
- Aspirants who are blind (including colour-blind), deaf, or dumb will not be admitted to the program.

IPU MBBS Admission 2023 Application Form
To apply for IPU MBBS admission, applicants must first register on the university’s website. The application form for IPU MBBS 2023 may be completed online at ipu.ac.in.
- Students must register using their personal and contact information when completing the IPU MBBS application form. Students must register by providing their name, date of birth, nationality, category, parents’ names, email addresses, phone numbers, and complete addresses.
- Students will be required to upload their image, signature, and left-hand thumb imprint on the IPU MBBS application form after registering.
- Students will be required to fill out their academic information for grades 10 and 12.
- After providing all of the required information, the candidate will be given a login ID and password.
- Payment of application cost – After logging in, students must select the course (MBBS/BDS) for which they desire to apply, and then pay the Rs 1,000 application fee.
- The price for the IPU MBBS application form can be paid online with a credit/debit card or through net banking.
- Aspirants should print two to three copies of the IPU MBBS application form after submission for future reference.
IPU MBBS Admission 2023 Merit List
The authorities will issue a merit list when the IPU MBBS application form has been submitted. The IPU MBBS 2023 merit list will be available in PDF format on the official website. The names of students who are eligible for IPU NEET admission will be listed on the merit list. The IPU MBBS/BDS merit list will be compiled using the NEET 2023 results. Candidate name, DOB, gender, category, and NEET rank will be listed on the IPU MBBS 2023 merit list.
