- There is no minimum or maximum age requirement for IGNOU MCA.
Education Qualification
- Aspirants must have passed BCA / B.Sc. Information Technology / B.Sc. Computer Science / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognized university or college.
- They have at least 50% (45% in the case of the reserved category) marks in graduation.
OR
- Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years duration.

- These candidates must enroll in & successfully complete two IGNOU bridging courses, namely MCS-201 (Programming in C & Python) and MCS-208 (Data Structures and Algorithm).

IGNOU MCA 2023 Fees
The program structure affects the program’s pricing structure. The semester system is used for both the academic fees and the distance learning MCA at IGNOU. Aspirants must thus deposit their fees in advance of each semester either online or by issuing a bank draught in the name of IGNOU. Candidates must pay Rs. 12,000 every semester toward the program’s 48,000 rupees total academic cost, which is split over 4 semesters.
