GPAT 2024 – The application process will begin in February 2024 and fill out the form till the last date. It is a national-level entrance test for admission to the master’s program. GPAT is conducted by NTA (National testing agency). Till 2018, GPAT is conducted by AICTE (All India Council of technical education) but since 2019, it is conducted by NTA. What is GPAT Exam?
GPAT stand for graduate pharmacy aptitude test is a national-level entrance exam which is conducted by a National testing agency to offer admission to various master’s programs like M Pharma or equivalent course. The exam will be conducted once in a year and there is no limit to attempting the exam. After qualifying for this entrance exam, candidates may get scholarships and other financial assistance on the basis of their GPAT scores.

GPAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Here is given the eligibility criteria which is required to appear in the GPAT exam 2024.
Nationality
- To appear in GPAT exam, the candidate must be Indian
Age criteria
- There are no age restrictions for GPAT exam.
Education qualification
- Candidate must have a 4-year bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent qualifying exam after 10 + 2 from any recognised board.
- Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to appear in the entrance exam of GPAT.
- Candidates of BTech ( Pharmaceutical and fine chemical Technology) or any equivalent course are not eligible to appear in GPAT.
GPAT 2024 Admission procedure
First, candidates have to fill out the online application form by visiting the official website of GPAT. Candidates can pay the application fee within 2 days of the last date of the online application form. Candidates have to choose the city of the entrance exam and then-candidate have to download their admit card which is available approx two weeks before the entrance exam then candidates have to appear in the entrance exam at the examination centre whose details are available on the admit card and then answer key will be released on the official website within two days after the entrance exam and then the result will be declared approx 1 month after the entrance exam.
Aspirants have to download their results and participate in the counselling. Candidates are allotted seats in the respective institution according to you their GPAT score, preference etc. Final admission is based on group discussion and personal interview which is conducted by the respective Institute.
GPAT Exam 2024 Application Form
GPAT application form 2024 will be released in the month of November. Candidates can fill out their GPAT application form 2024 by visiting the official website. Below is the procedure to fill GPAT application form 2024.
The first candidate has to register themselves by visiting the official website by entering a valid email id and valid mobile number which is active and then create a password and choose a security question and then save the password, security question and its answer after that aspirants will receive an application number after registration is over. Candidates have to fill out the entire GPAT application form 2024 by logging in to their portal and then the candidates have to upload a passport-size photograph and scanned image of their signature then candidate has to pay the non-refundable application fee.
GPAT 2024 Exam Admit card
GPAT Admit card 2024 will be released two weeks before the entrance exam. candidates can download the GPAT Admit card 2024 by visiting the official website of GPAT. Admit cards contain information about candidates along with the date, time and venue of the entrance exam. If candidates found any incorrect information on the GPAT Admit card 2024 do not access their admit card then they have to contact the helpdesk immediately. Candidates do not have to carry any electronic equipment at the examination centre.
GPAT 2024 Exam pattern
Here is given the exam pattern of GPAT entrance exam which candidates have to know.
- The entrance exam will be conducted only in online mode.
- Objective-type or multiple-type questions will be asked in the entrance exam.
- A total of 125 questions will be asked in the entrance exam.
- The duration of the entrance exam will be of 3 hours or 180 minutes.
- The whole question paper will be 500 marks.
- There will be negative markings. One mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
- 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer.
- The exam will be available only in the English language.

GPAT 2024 Answer Key
The answer key of GPAT entrance exam will release within 2 days after the entrance exam on the official website of GPAT. Candidates can download the answer key from the official website and they have the option to challenge or claim any answer of the answer key within a specific time period. Candidates can expect their approximate marks or rank on behalf of the answer key.
GPAT 2024 Results
The result of GPAT exam will declare in the month of February. Candidate can download their result by visiting the official website to log in to their portal by entering the required detail. The result will contain personal information of candidates like candidate name, gender, date of birth etc along with obtained marks and rank. If candidates do not download their results or found any incorrect detail on their results then they have to contact the helpdesk.
GPAT 2024 Counselling
GPAT counselling does not conduct by the National testing agency. Aspirants who are eligible for counselling have to apply separately at the participating institutions in order of preference after the result declaration. GPAT counselling will be based on obtained marks by the candidates in the entrance exam and seat allotment will be done based on the merit list which is released by the respective authorities. The procedure of counselling is is document verification, choice filling and locking, seat allotment and reporting at the institute.
