DU BFA 2023 – Bachelor of Fine Arts course is one of the popular courses at Delhi University. However, admission to the DU Bachelor of Fine Arts course will be done through CUET. The application form for CUET closed on 30 March 2023. Whereas CUET admits card will be released in the second week of May 2023. DU BFA About
Delhi University or DU offer a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) course with a duration of 04 years. This Degree course will be full time and Candidates have to Come to the selected college on regular basis for their studies. The minimum qualification for DU BFA is 12th. However, Candidates have to go through the CUET exam conducted by NTA as well as a practical-based test conducted by CoA (College of Arts). DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) will finalize the candidates for BFA course.
- Analysis / Premise and View / Critique will be used for Art History specialisation.
- Drawing and pertinent Specialization will be used for the other five specialisations. (weightage will be 50: 50)

DU BFA 2023 Eligibility Criteria
If the candidate wants to take admitted to the BFA course at DU then they have to fulfil the following requirements.
- Age Criteria
- There is no age limit for DU BFA program admission.
- Education Qualification
- Any aspirants seeking admission to DU BFA Course must have completed their intermediate with at least 50% in the sum of five subjects.
- Aspirants with compartments are ineligible for the programme.
- Exam Qualification
- Candidates are mandatory to appear & qualify for CUET and practical-based tests of CoA.

DU BFA 2023 Admission Procedure & Counselling
As per the eligibility, candidates have to clear the CUET entrance exam. Candidates have to complete the CUET procedure in which the following steps are mandatory.
- Fill out CUET UG application form
- Download CUET UG admit card, whenever the authority releases
- Appeared in CUET UG Entrance Exam as per scheduled
- Check the CUET UG result, whenever declared
Candidates who pass the CUET UG must register on DU CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) site for seat distribution. The admission procedure is divided into three stages.
- In the first stage, applicants must complete the required details of the CSAS portal by accessing the official website ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
- The second step includes filling out the programme & college choices.
- The third part includes seat allocation.
The institution will hold numerous sessions of seat allocation based on the schools and programmes that students have chosen. Chosen applicants can then accept/freeze or improve their spots by the deadline. For final admission, the candidate can freeze his/her seat and pay for the same.
Note: Merit List will be determined by combining the 50% score of the CUET exam and the 50% score of the Practical based test.

DU BFA 2023 Seats
There is only one college in DU that offer BFA course named CoA (College of Arts).85% of the seats are reserved for those aspirants who are from the Delhi region, with the remaining 15% reserved for outsiders. All programmes are split into eight semesters, with the first two semesters serving as a foundation study and the remaining six semesters serving as specialisations.
