Delhi University or DU offer a BA Honours Bengali course through Miranda House and ZHDC (Zakir Husain Delhi College). At DU, the three-year, full-time B.A. Honours Bengali programme. The 12th grade is the minimum requirement for admission. Candidates must also complete the NTA-conducted CUET test in addition to having passed the 12th grade. DU BA Hons Bengali 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can take admitted to the BA Hons Bengali course at DU by fulfilling the following criteria.
- Age Criteria
- Admission to the DU BA Hons Bengali programme is open to students of any age.
- Education Qualification
- Candidates must have received an overall grade of 50% in the 12th grade to qualify.
- Candidates with compartments are not qualified to participate in the course.
- Exam Qualification
- Candidates must complete the CUET UG with their intermediate-level coursework.

DU BA Hons Bengali 2023 Subject Selection & Exam Pattern
All applicants must take the CUET test to be admitted. However, applicants have a lot of issues choosing a subject. There are two possible subject option combos for BA Hons Bengali. The applicant must decide between combinations 1 and 2. These combos are listed below.
Combination – I
- Bengali must be chosen from list A.
- From section B1, candidates may choose any two subjects.
- The applicant must choose one more subject from either list B1 or list B2.
OR
Combination – II
- From section A, the candidate may choose any one language.
- either of the two subjects in list B1.
- They must choose a third subject from either list B1 or B2.
Note:
- Merit will be decided using the highest CUET number obtained from any of the combos.
- Candidates who choose combination I will receive the position priority. The students who choose Commission Two will be granted the available seats if any are still available after the acceptance of the applicants who chose Combination One.

Qualified candidates have to register themselves at CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) and then go through the following stages for final admission. To register, candidates have to fill out all the correct required details at the portal. Then candidates have to select the colleges and courses to which want to take admission. After that CSAS release the cutoff as per their criteria. Cutoff-qualified candidates got the seat. Now the candidate has the option to select or reject the seat. If they select the seat then they need to freeze it and pay for the same for final confirmation. And for final admission, they have to go through the document verification.
