What is CEED? – Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is a National level or joint Entrance exam conducted by the IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), Bombay on behalf of the Ministry of human resources development, as well as the Government of India for admission to students, ‘s in various master of design (M.Des) and PhD programmes at IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kanpur and IISc Bangalore as well as IITDM Jabalpur. CEED Exam will be a computer-based test as well as a paper-based test and conduct once a year.

CEED 2024 Eligibility criteria
Here is given all the eligibility criteria for CEED exam. Before filling out the application form, candidates have to read all the eligibility criteria and if they are completing the requirements then fill out the application form otherwise their application will be rejected.
Education Qualifications
- Candidates who have passed or final year appearing minimum 3-year degree or Diploma programme after 10+2 level are eligible to appear in CEED exam 2024.
CEED 2024 Selection Procedure
There are two steps for two-step for step for selection written examination and another is an interview. The first candidate has to qualify CEED exam then and the candidates will get a call for an interview from the respective authority of the college. Candidates have to attend the interview on the given schedule otherwise admission will be cancelled and the application will be rejected.
CEED 2024 Admission Procedure
Candidate has to fill out the application form for CEED exam which is available on the official website of Ceed and then for a short duration, a correction window is open for that candidate who mistakes in the application form so that they can rectify their mistake and after that admit card will be released on the official website. Candidates have to download their admit card and appear in the exam on a given schedule and the result will be declared approx after 1 month after the entrance exam then who qualifies CEED exam, will get a call from the respective authorities of the college for an interview. candidates have to attend an interview and after clearing the interview they have to pay the admission fee and their admission will be done.
CEED Exam 2024 Application Form
Candidates have to visit the official website of CEED and then click on the registration portal or candidates can directly apply by clicking on apply now link which is available in the important links section. The first candidate has to register by Himself by entering the required and relevant detail and then fill out the entire application form CEED. Candidates have to fill in personal details like name, gender, date of birth etc and then family detail, communication detail, qualification detail and so on don’t forget to upload required documents like passport-size photographs, scanned signature, scanned mark sheet/certificate of qualifying exam, category certificate if required etc and candidates have to select 3 exam centre in order of preference and the last stage is payment. Credit cards, debit cards and net banking are the methods of payment.

CEED Exam 2024 Admit Card
Aspirants have to download their admit card from the official website of CEED approx 2 weeks before the exam. To download the admit card, Aspirant has to visit the CEED official website and then log in to their portal by entering relevant details after that click on the link of admit card and take a print of it and make 2 or 3 photocopies of it for future use and don’t forget to take admit card at the exam centre. If aspirants are unable to download their admit then they have to contact the help desk, immediately.

The examination of CEED will be conducted in two parts, one is Part A and other is Part B. Both parts are compulsory to attend.

- The exam will be conducted in online mode as a computer-based screening test.

Exam pattern of Part B
- The exam will be pen and paper-based that is Questions will be displayed on the screen of a computer but the answer are written in the booklet provided by the respective authority.

- A total of 8 questions are asked in the exam in which candidates have to choose one question from 1 to 5 and 6,7 & 8 are compulsory to attend.
- The duration of part B will be 2 hours.

Results will be declared on the official website of CEED and Candidates have to download their results from CEED official website to log in to their portal by using the required details and then click on the link of the result. Part A results will be shown to all the candidates who appear in the exam successfully but Part B results are shown to those candidates who are qualified in Part A and then all those candidate’s will get the call for interview by the respective authority who qualify both the parts.
