What is BHU CHS Admission?

CHGS (Central Hindu Girls School) & CHBS (Central Hindu Boys School) hold an annual entrance test for admission to the IV, IX & XI classes but this year, there is no entrance exam for admission. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is in charge of organizing the event. Admission to VI and IX will be based on e-lottery and class XI admission will be based on the merit of class 10th.

Education Qualification

• Class VI – Students must have passed class V from any recognised board.
• Class IX – Students must have passed class VIII from any recognised board.
• Class XI – Students Should have passed class X from any recognised board.
  • Arts – No minimum marks required.
  • Commerce – Students must have at least 55% marks in their qualifying exam.
  • Science – Students need to score more than 60% as well as at least 50% marks aggregate marks in mathematics and science.

BHU CHS Admission 2023 Selection Process

For entrance to BHU VI and IX classes, pupils will be chosen by an E-lottery system. The selection for XI admittance, on the other hand, shall be made on the basis of a merit list based on the grades received in class X. As a result, only those candidates whose names appear on the merit list are considered for the final round of selection.
