FTII JET 2024 – Film & Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Exam or FTII JET is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the respective authority of FTII. The purpose of the FTII JET Exam is to provide admission to various courses at FTII and SRFTI. The application form for the same will be released soon. What is FTII JET?
FTII JET is one of the very visible exams which students consider as a part of their career for acting and film direction and its sound recorder. But students go to FTII to hone their skills in film direction and acting. A lot of students from different states come to FTII to pursue their sound recording and acting career.

Various types of courses are offered in FTII which are of 2 years and some are of 3 years and are also conducted in SRFTI. FTII JET score accepted by both FTII (Film and Television Institute India, Pune ) and SRFTI (Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata).

Eligibility for Film Wing course (Except for Art Direction & Production Design)
- Aspirants must have a bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline.
For Art Direction & Production Design
- An aspirant must have a Bachelor’s degree in the following discipline.
- Applied Arts, Architecture, Painting, Sculpture, Interior design, or equivalent to fine arts.
Eligibility for television Wing
- Aspirants must have passed graduation or equivalent with any discipline.
FTII JET 2024 Exam Pattern
Here is given below the FTII JET Exam Pattern so that aspirants become familiar with the pattern.
- The test is conducted in a paper-and-pencil format.
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and subjective-type questions will be asked in the test.
- Aspirants will have 3 hours to finish the exam.
- There will be 30 multiple-choice questions and 70 subjective questions.
- There will be a total of 100 questions in the exam.
- Each right answer will receive one mark and each wrong answer deducted 0.25 marks.

FTII JET 2024 Admission Procedure
The admission stages of the screen acting course are different from the film wing as well as television wing courses.
Film Wing and Television Wing Stages (Except Screen Acting Course)
There are four stages of admission or selection except for the screen acting course. The following are the stages.
- FTII JET Exam
- Orientation
- Interview
- Medical
FTII JET exam Application form
First, Aspirants have to fill out the online JET application form by visiting the official website. In the application form, Aspirants have to enter all the required details like personal, academic, communicational, family etc and upload all the required documents. At last, aspirants have to pay the JET application form fees by using net banking, credit card and debit card.
FTII JET Admit card
JET admit card will be released by the respective authority of FTII a week from the JET exam. And then aspirants can download their JET admit card by login their portal and appearing in the JET exam by going exam centre details will be available on the admit card.
FTII JET Result
The respective authority of FTII will release the JET exam result approx 01 or 02 weeks after the exam. The result of the FTII JET Exam will contain the marks and rank of candidates.
Final Selection
Shortlisted candidates are called for orientation and interview round. Those candidates who will be qualified for JET, orientation and interview are called for medical tests.
Stages for Screen Acting
There are three stages of admission or selection for the screen acting course. The following are the stages.
