JMI BA LLB 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for JMI BA LLB L, it is very important to know the eligibility criteria for the candidate which are given below.
Age criteria
- The maximum age of the candidate can be 20 years while applying for the general category.
- The maximum age for reserved category candidates of SC/ST/OBC can be 22 years of application.
Education qualifications
- Candidates must have passed a 10+2 level of education from any recognized board.
- A minimum of 55% marks are required in the qualifying examination.
- If the candidates are passed with a graded system then they have at least 60% or 6.75/10 marks required.
Note – Appearing candidates of class 12th are also eligible to appear in the entrance exam.
JMI BA LLB 2024 Admission and selection procedure
First, candidates have to fill out the online application form for the entrance exam of BA LLB then they have to download the admit card 1 week after the entrance exam, and after that, they have to appear in the entrance exam with valid ID proof and then result of JMI BA LLB will be released and candidates are shortlisted for interview on the basis of entrance exam marks.
Candidates who have been shortlisted, have to carry their entrance exam admit card as well as self-attested copies of the required documents at the time of the interview.

Before filling out the application form, candidates have to read the information Bulletin carefully which is available on the official website of JMI. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website or by directly from the important links section. The first candidate has to register themselves by entering the required detail and then filling in the entire details like personal detail, communication detail, and qualification detail by login their portal, as well as candidates, have to upload passport-size colour photographs as well as a scanned copy of their signature and then pay the online application form fee.
JMI BA LLB 2024 online application form fee
Aspirants have the option to pay the online application fee by using a credit card/ debit card/ net banking. Once the application fee is received successfully by JMI then it will not refundable at any cost. The application fee will be refundable only in case of a failed transaction. The online application form fee is Rs. 700/-.
JMI BA LLB 2024 Admit card
When the admit card is released, you are informed through SMS on the registered mobile number. candidates can download their admit card by visiting the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia university and then logging in to their portal by entering their email id and password. Candidates have to print their admit card and paste the recent self-attested passport-size coloured photograph. Candidates have to follow all the instructions which are available on the admit card and bring valid id proof for identification at the time of the entrance exam.
JMI BA LLB 2024 result
University shall prepare a merit list on the basis of entrance exam scores as well as consider reservation and relaxation. A list of those candidates who are selected provisionally for admission will be displayed on the official website of Jamia’s at the scheduled time which is given on the prospectus. JMI BA LLB 2024 seat matrix
There are only 120 seats for BA LLB students in the JMI university which is classified into two categories one is regular and the other is self-financed. Both the category have 60 seats each.
Note – To start this course, admission of at least 10 candidates is necessary.
JMI BA LLB 2024 Fee structure
The fee structure of JMI for BA LLB is very affordable for middle family and the fee structure for regular students are Rs. 10,400/- per annum and self-financed students are Rs. 40,500/- per annum.
Note – There is not much difference between regular and self-financed students. Their faculty will be the same as well as books will be the same. Only the difference in fees and shift. The morning shift will be for regular students whereas the evening Swift will be for self-financed students.
JMI BA LLB 2024 Exam pattern
The candidates are required to know the exam pattern for better preparation for an entrance exam. The exam pattern of JMI BA LLB is given below.
- The mode of the entrance exam will be offline that is pen and paper-based
- The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes or two hours
- Objective-type questions will be asked in the entrance examination
- There will be a total of 150 questions asked in the exam
- The question paper will be divided into a total 5 section
- For every correct answer, one mark will be awarded whereas for every incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted
- The entire exam will be 150 marks
