TISSNET 2024 – Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has decided to withdraw the TISS National Entrance Test (TISSNET) for the 2024–25 academic year. Postgraduate admissions are going to be based on CUET PG 2024, with the exception of two courses that will use the CAT as a selection parameter. What is TISSNET?
TISSNET 2024 is a national-level PG entrance test held by Tata Institute of Social Science for admission to its campus & related institutes. TISS Mumbai’s MA in Human Resource Management & Labor Relations is the flagship programme available through TISSNET 2024. Under the flagship TISS brand, there are 21 schools & 45 facilities operational at present. According to the MHRD NIRF 2021, TISS was placed 34th in the “All University” category & 57th in the overall category.

TISSNET 2024 Exam Pattern

- TISSNET is a computer-based test
- The language of the paper will be English
- TISSNET is divided into three sections

TISSNET 2024 Selection & Admission Procedure
Admission to TISSNET 2024 will be based on 03 stages which are the following:-
- TISSNET
- TISSMAT
- Personal Interview (OA-Online Assessment)
TISSNET
The TISSNET application form will be filled out online and an aspirant can apply only for a maximum of 03 programmes. To fill out the application form for TISSNET 2024, Aspirants need to visit the official website. Candidates have to enter all the required details and upload all the documents. At last, they need to pay application form fees which are mentioned below.

Then they have to download TISSNET Admit card whenever released. After that, Aspirants have to appear in the TISSNET Exam as per scheduled. Then check and download the result whenever declared. After that shortlisted candidates will be called for TISSMAT.
TISSMAT
Aspirants who are selected to participate in stage 2 of the course of MA (ODCL) & MA (HRM &LR) for the Mumbai Campus will be required to take an additional Management Aptitude Test (TISS-MAT).
Online Assessment
Those who clear the TISSMAT after TISSNET will be called for the PI-Personal Interview round. The aspirants who are applying for other courses except for MA (ODCL) & MA (HRM&LR), do not need to appear in TISSMAT. They will be called for personal interviews after TISSNET. The interview round is 45 mins.
