If aspirants want to study BCA at IPU then they have to give the entrance exam of IPU CET 2024. IPU CET BCA is a 3 years undergraduate-level entrance exam conducted by GGSIPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University), Delhi for all those candidates who reside inside as well as outside Delhi. IPU BCA 2024 Eligibility criteria

To take admission to BCA of IPU then candidates have to fulfil all the below eligibility criteria otherwise their application will be rejected or admission will be cancelled at any stage.

Age criteria

• The age of the candidate should not be more than 21 years as on 01 August 2024.

Education qualification

• Either
  • Students must have 10 + 2 levels of education from any recognized board.
  • Candidates must have studied English in one of these subjects mathematics/computer science/ Informatics practices /computer application /multimedia and Web Technology /data management application/ web application.
  • A minimum of 50% mark is required in the qualifying exam.
• Or
  • An aspirant must have a degree in a polytechnic or a diploma in a branch of engineering.
  • A minimum of 50% aggregate marks are required in the qualifying exam.

IPU CET BCA 2024 Exam pattern

Candidates know the exam pattern of IPU CET BCA which is given below.

• The exam will be online on a computer.
• Objective-type questions will be asked in the examination.
• The duration of the examination will be two and a half hours.
• 100 questions will be asked in the exam.
• For every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded.
• 1 mark of negative marking.
• While the exam will be of 400 Mark.
• The exam will be available only in the English language.

IPU BCA 2024 Admission Procedure & Counselling

Admission is based on the merit of CET exam. To take admission to IPU BCA, the candidate has to fill out the application form CET and then the correction window is open for a short duration to make the correction and then admit card will be released on the official website and after that candidates have to appear in the CET exam and then result will be declared and after that merit list will be released and candidate has to participate in the counselling for admission.

IPU CET BCA 2024 Application form

IPU CET BCA Application Form 2024 will be filled out online on the official website of IPU admission. First, Candidates have to register themselves by entering the required detail and then fill out the entire IPU CET BCA Application Form 2024. The candidate has to provide all the details such as personal detail, communication detail, academic detail/qualification detail etc and then the candidate has to upload all the required documents like class 10th mark sheet, passport size photograph, and scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format. And the last option is payment. Candidates have to pay the IPU CET BCA Application Form 2024 fees through credit card, debit card or net banking.

IPU CET BCA Admit card 2024 will be released approx 2 weeks before the entrance exam. Candidates can download their IPU CET BCA Admit card 2024 by visiting the official website or the download link will be sent by IP university by mail to the registered email and via SMS to the registered mobile number. IPU CET BCA Admit card 2024 contain personal information like name, gender, date of birth etc along with the date, time and venue of the entrance exam.

IPU CET BCA Result 2024 will be declared approx 1 month after the entrance exam. IPU BCA Admission 2024 Counselling.

Counselling will be conducted online. There are three rounds of counselling and if the seat remains vacant after 3 rounds then a special round means a spot round will be drawn. Candidates have to register themselves again for counselling then candidates have filled in the choices and don’t forget to lock their choices. The final seat allotment will be declared by the respective authority.

IPU BCA 2024 Cutoff

On the website, the IPU CET BCA 2024 Cut-Off will be published. Separately, the cutoffs for other counselling rounds will be revealed. Only those students who meet the cutoff will be allowed to proceed to the next round in the admissions process.
