JNU Admission 2021 Eligibility criteria
Before taking admission in JNU, aspirants have to fulfill the JNU Admission Eligibility Criteria which are following.
Nationality
- Indian national and foreign National category candidates are eligible for JNU admission.
Age criteria
- There will be no age limit for examination but for JNU admission candidate must be completed at least 17 years.

Undergraduate courses education qualification
Minimum education qualification for all undergraduate courses is aspirant must have completed their 12th or equivalent from any recognised board or university. Education qualification for some undergraduate courses are given below
For BA Honours 1st year
- Candidate must have completed their 12th from any recognised board with minimum 45% marks.
- Intermediate appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for JNU.
For BA Hons 2nd year
- Aspirant must qualify first year of Bachelor or equivalent degree from any recognised University with minimum 45% marks and aspirant must have adequate proficiency in the concern language.
Postgraduate courses education qualification
Minimum education qualification for all postgraduate courses is aspirants must have a bachelor or equivalent degree in their relevant subject. Education qualification for some postgraduate courses are following
For MCA
- Aspirant must have a bachelor or equivalent degree from any recognised board with minimum 55% aggregate marks.
- Aspirant must have Mathematics as their mandatory subject.
For MA
- Candidate must have a bachelor bachelor or equivalent degree in any stream with minimum 55% aggregate marks.
For MTech in statistical computing
- Aspirant must have a bachelor degree in engineering for MCA or master degree in mathematics, computer science, statistic, operational research or in any other science branch.
- Aspirants must score minimum 55% in qualifying exam.
For MSc life science
- Aspirants must have completed Btech/BSc or equivalent bachelor degree in biological/physical/agricultural science or biotechnology from any recognised University with minimum 55% aggregate marks.

JNU Admission process of MBA or Biotechnology programmes
As we discussed above, if aspirant want to take admission in JNU MBA then they have to qualify CAT entrance exam. JNU Admission process of Merit based courses
All the aspirants Who is interested to take admission in merit based courses, they have to fill the online JNU application form and then participate in the counselling. merit list will be prepared on behalf of their qualifying exam.
JNU Admission process of entrance based courses
Aspirants have to fill the JNU admission application form which is available on the official website and then download the admit card and appear in the entrance exam. After that result will be declared and merit list will be prepared on their entrance exam. Shortlisted candidates have to participate in the counselling for admission.
JNU 2021 correction window
JNU will be open their correction window for very short duration after closing the application form for all those candidates who made the mistake in their JNU application form while filling. JNU 2021 Admit Card
Aspirants can download their admit card of JNU 2021 aprox 1 week before the entrance exam. JNU admit card contain date, time and venue of JNU entrance exam along with some personal details.
