BITSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Here is given all the Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT Exam. To fill out the application form for BITSAT, Candidates have to complete all the Eligibility Criteria. All the candidates who will not meet the eligibility criteria even if they have cleared this exam their admission will be cancelled and they will not be granted a seat in the college.
Education Qualification
- Candidates must have at least 75% aggregate marks in the Qualifying Exam.
- The candidate must have passed the 12th standard from the recognized board.
- Candidate must have studied physics, chemistry, and mathematics/Biology(For B.Pharma) being the compulsory subjects.
BITSAT 2024 Admission Procedure
First, the Candidate has to fill out the online application Form for BITSAT Exam 2024 by visiting the official website then the Candidate has to slot the book for the exam according to their preference and the Candidate has to download the admit card from the official website and take a print out of it and after that candidate have to appear in the exam and then Candidate have to download the result and then participate in the counselling.
How to apply for BITSAT Exam?

- Register for bitsat 2024
- Select the three courses in which you want to enrol to pursue engineering
- Fill the form with necessary documents such as aadhar card, 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, or roll no.
- Pay your application form charges i.e. 3,400/- online via various payment options.
- Booking your slots and exams centres to appear in the exam:
- After filling up your form you will be asked to select the three centres and cities of your choice along with the slots such as the date and time you want to appear for the exam. The slot booking facility is available
- on a first come first serve basis so be quick to book your desired slot.
BITSAT 2024 Slot Booking and Admit Card
Candidates have to complete their slot booking within the given schedule. To slot booking, the Candidate has to visit the official website and log in to the portal and then set the preference of the exam centre which is selected by the candidate at the time of filling out the application form.

Before appearing in the exam, the Candidate has to download their admit card from the official website by login into their portal don’t forget to take a printout of admitting card and paste the same on admit card which is uploaded at the time of filling out the application form.
BITSAT 2024 Exam pattern
Here is given the Exam pattern of BITSAT Exam which helps the candidate to manage time during the exam.
- The exam will be online on the computer.
- The duration of the exam will be 3 hrs.
- Objective-type Questions will be asked in the entrance exam.
- The exam will be available only in the English language.
There will be 40 questions in physics in part 1, 40 questions in chemistry in part 2, 15 questions of testing your English proficiency, 10 questions to check your logical ad reasoning abilities in part 3, along with 45 questions in mathematics/Biology in part 4 of the exam.
BITSAT 2024 Marking scheme
Here is given the marking scheme for BITSAT Exam 2024. If candidates know the marking scheme then their selection chances are increased.
- You will be rewarded with 3 marks for every question you answered correctly.
- 1 mark will be deducted if your answer to the question was wrong so answer wisely in order to increase your chance of the selection.
- No marks are awarded or deducted for every un-attempted question.
BITSAT 2024 Syllabus
The official syllabus will declare with the declaration of examination by the bits Pilani board, but with the previous examination syllabus, we can say that class 11th physics, chemistry, and mathematics will hold 50% weightage that is 20 questions each in the syllabus whereas similarly class 12th chemistry, physics, and maths will also hold the same weightage i.e 50% which reiterates to 20 questions from each subject. However, due to covid-19 induced pandemic the revised syllabus with the deductions of some particular topics will also lead to the deductions of those topics from the exam
How to prepare for the BITSAT Exam?
- Candidates must have a thorough of the concepts given in the NCERT textbook.
- Candidates must know how to use those concepts to answer particular questions correctly.
- Candidates should prepare short notes for themselves to revise regularly important topics and concepts.
- Previous year’s BITSAT sample question papers should be solved thoroughly to get an idea of the exam.
- Regularly give mock tests to be familiar with the examination pattern and timings.
- The topics in which you feel you are weak prepare and improve those particular areas.
- Thoroughly read and revise the chemical equations in such a way that they should be on your tips so that you can readily answer those questions as these types of questions are always asked directly to you.
- You should remember each and every formula and theorem given in the NCERT textbook of physics and maths so that you can answer the questions rapidly.
BITSAT 2024 Counselling and admission
- After the rank list is established counselling rounds will take place where candidates will be asked to reserve their seats by paying the fees.
- You will be called up as per your merit.
- You can expect somewhere around 6 counselling rounds.
- There are no seats for students from the reserved category.
